We are approaching the time of year when the earth begins to awaken and readies for her birth. Not all her children will have made it through the winter and their bodies turn to the gift of compost that feeds the new life. So do we have a connection to our lineage of our beloved dead who’s stories and choices have shaped our lives and have become the fertile soil for our birth.
Are you someone who knows little about your ancestors and would like to find a way to deepen your connection with them? Are you someone who struggles with what you know about your ancestors because it was difficult and full of hardship? Do you feel that you do not really know how to relate to them and feel alienated from that part of your heritage? Are you looking to come into peace with them and begin to appreciate them for who they were and forgive? Do you want to keep their stories alive? Are you missing your beloved ancestors and are looking for a way to honor and celebrate your relationship with them in a meaningful and heartfelt way? Or are you ready to bring them in as allies guiding you through life?
We come together in a daylong ceremony/workshop in remembrance of our ancestors and deepen our relationship with them. With our ancestors we move collectively through a deep process of story, transformational healing work, shrine building, various feeding of the ancestors rituals, and end with a sacred fire. It is a dive into container of the ancestors where we get touched by the beauty that unfolds as we express what lives in our heart through our creativity, prayers, and journeys. How we move forward has a lot to do with how we complete our endings.
This is a very powerful day in which the presence of the ancestors is palpable. Katja Esser and Laney Goodman, each gifted ceremonialists, come together to facilitate you through this process of feeding the ancestors and healing our relationships with them. Expect to come away with a deeper connection as the ancestors are eager to assist us and reach out to us.
Cost for the day $75

THE MAGIC MONTAGUE CASTLE in Montague, MA
~ Directions will be given to you when you register~
Winter Solstice is on December 21st, 2015 and we celebrate the longest night of the year as the wheel turns and heads toward the Light. During this time of increasing darkness that surrounds our world, it is time to gather in the Light and set intentions and prayers to hold the light.
~~~~~~~~~~~~
“We are blind except for the Light that shines from our hearts… searchlights desperately seeking to meet in trust and intimacy.
May we continue to see the Way. May our stories be told. May our songs be heard.
May the tales of war be buried and transformed into stories of wishes come true.
May the seeds grow, may the rains fall, may we rest long enough.
May this struggle turn into the story of the beautiful journey we share with our children.
Once more the balance tips…the scales of the year veer toward the light and we pray in that illumination…for Peace.”
